Sophia Joulaei

I am currently completing the fourth year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, pursuing a Psychology Research Specialist, and an English Minor. My research interests, more generally, lie in the area of prejudice against vulnerable populations, approached through an intersectional lens. I am particularly curious about how discrimination shapes risk factors for negative mental and physical health outcomes in older adults, as well as how such biases influence the accessibility and quality of healthcare for this population.
